Jamal O. Ijeoma

Partner

Jamal is an Assurance and Accounting Partner at Baker Tilly, Chartered Accountants, Nassau, The Bahamas.

Jamal is a graduate of Acadia University located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) and a Member of the New Hampshire State Board of Accountancy. Jamal is also a Licensed Chartered Accountant (“CA”) and a Member of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (“BICA”).

He has a significant amount of years and experience in Public Accounting and Assurance services in the Bahamas and Internationally across a wide variety of industries, particularly private and commercial banking, mutual funds, trusts, asset management, fund administration, and the Retail sectors.

Jamal is also actively involved within the community, particularly through various mentorship programs, and as a presenter for several guest speaking engagements focused on the topics ‘Financial Literacy’ and ‘Internal Controls’. He also has over 15 years’ of service as the Director of Music in several local churches.
