Shando S. Rolle, CPA, is a member of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (“BICA”) with over eighteen (18) years of experience in public accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of The Bahamas (formerly the College of the Bahamas), and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed under the New Hampshire State Board of Accountancy. With a career built on vast experience in public accounting, Shando gained foundational experience during his tenure with Ernst & Young Bahamas, and further strengthened his technical expertise and leadership skills during his tenure with Grant Thornton Bahamas. Throughout this period of his career, he worked extensively on both auditing and consulting engagements across diverse industries, including asset management, fund administration, pension funds, private banking, trusts, services, retail and utilities.

Shando also obtained vast knowledge in the accounting industry through various training courses in the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and throughout the Caribbean, which includes several International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) update seminars. In 2018, he was one of the recipients of the Professional Services Bahamas “40 Under 40 Most Influential and Successful Professionals in The Bahamas” award, which was a selection of 40 of the best and brightest young professionals in the country, chosen out of a group of over 150 nominees.
